A small group of us went bird watching at Gibraltar Point on 29 December. It was a cold, crisp day with skeins of Pink-footed geese in the sky and many ducks on the lagoons. In all we saw 36 different species including a Barn owl, a juvenile, female Marsh harrier, a Sparrow hawk and a Robin.
